Does the package come with LetsEncrypt or AutoSSL?

Our packages each include FREE SSL Certificates for every domain which resolves to your account. We offer both LetsEncryptand AutoSSLto users, dependant on which control panel you are using.

We automatically issue SSL certificates using cPanel’s AutoSSL feature signed by Comodo.

What do I do if I need help?

Our team of highly skilled support engineers are on hand to help you with any problems you may have. We are incredibly proud of the friendly and knowledgeable technical support we provide.

Do I have to pay extra for a domain name?

Depending on the package that you purchase – we offer some deals on domain name registration for the first year of your hosting package.

Do you offer a FREE domain transfer?

We offer FREE .uk or .co.uk domain in-transfers for existing (already registered) domain names, allowing you to host and manage your .uk and .co.uk domain names all in the same place.

What happens to my free domain if I cancel my package?

If we have provided a free .uk or .co.uk domain name with your hosting package and you decide to cancel within the initial registration period of the domain, then you will be required to pay the registration fee (as listed on our website) before it’s release to a third party host.

Can I use my domain registered elsewhere with your services?

Yes, we allow you to point your domain to us using our default nameservers, so you don’t have to transfer your domain across if you don’t want to. Our nameservers will be in the welcome email upon order acceptance.

Does the package include web applications like WordPress?

Yes, our SSD cloud web hosting solution is fully optimised for most popular applications. Our application installer carries over 200 web applications, conveniently installed from within your control panel in a few clicks.

Do you support NodeJS?

At this time we do not support NodeJS on our cloud hosting platform.

What happens if I want to upgrade later?

If you decide you want to upgrade your package to a different service such as our Premium Hosting – it’s easy. Just contact our support team, and we will guide you through the entire process.

With a pro-rata invoice raised on your account (for the difference between the packages based upon your current billing period) our friendly support team will then migrate your data, and your subscription fee will change to reflect your new hosting solution.

Are there any other fees or costs?

No, you only pay your recurring subscription fee. We have no hidden costs, sign-up or cancellation fees.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payments via PayPal or Stripe and allow you to pay via either method (which you can change at any time) by getting in touch with our support team.

What if I find this hosting package is not a good fit for me?

If you wish to cancel your subscription for any reason within the first 7 days, we offer a no-quibble money back guarantee.

Do you offer free web hosting?

No, we do not offer free web hosting services. There’s a good reason for this too. Most free web hosting providers will pack you into overloaded, insecure and blacklisted servers. It is not how we operate at Unlimited. We believe in charging a fair, affordable price for our cloud hosting services, with superior uptime, no overcrowding and secure hosting facilities.

What is the PHP Selector?

The PHP Selector empowers users to determine the particular version of PHP they require. It allows ultimate versatility by offering multiple versions of PHP, with selectable PHP extensions.

Each customer is different and has different requirements to run various web applications, software, and custom scripts. The PHP Selector is a feature of CloudLinux and CageFS which enables customers to select and optimise their PHP configuration, including modules, versions and PHP.ini settings from an easy-to-use interface to meet even the most demanding of requirements.

Which PHP Versions do you support?

We offer ten hardened PHP versions (7.2, 7.1, 7.0, 5.6, 5.5, 5.4, 5.3, 5.2, 5.1 and 4.4), along with allowing accounts to select their PHP modules and PHP settings.

Which PHP extensions do you support?

We support over 120 different PHP modules, which includes all of the most commonly used modules. Some of the most common modules included are dom, imagick, ioncube, mbstring and json. If you are looking for specific module support for your application, please contact our support team to confirm.
